About ALOR-Tick software package

The ALOR-Tick software package is intended for real-time technical analysis of a variety of financial markets. Easy to use, but at the same time very powerful, the ALOR-Tick platform ensures full-featured analysis of the Russian stock market and futures and options markets. It also supports work with foreign stock markets, commodity markets and Nasdaq Level II.

ALOR-Tick is based on two-stage architecture. The first level contains a data server. It obtains information about current quotations from various data sources. The data server ensures the accumulation and storage of quotations in databases (a proprietary format for databases is used allowing for export to and import from outward applications). The data server tweaks information about exchanges and tickers and generates delayed quotations. The data server also stores information about all users of the system, generates demo accounts and automatically monitors the expiry of accounts.

Key functions

• Generates charts for selected instruments with any intraday time interval from one to 1 439 minutes, as well as daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual charts. The following chart types are supported: bars, Japanese candlesticks, linear charts, noughts and crosses, Kagi, Renko, three line break and Market Profile.
• Provides around 50 indicators for technical analysis of charts, as well as various graphic tools: trends, channels, Fibonacci Retracement, support/resistance zones, etc.
• Supports work with chart templates.
• Reflects important events on charts (wars, rate changes, dividend payments, etc.).
• Reflects current quotations in different modes: in the form of a table, three most recent quotations for each selected ticker or in Time&Sales windows.
• Obtains and displays news from various sources.
• Obtains information about shares directly from the system: searching for the required tickers, searching for and displaying information about the issuer, reflecting growth/decline leaders and the most actively traded shares, reflecting instruments having reached new maximum/minimum values.
• Enables the user to generate their client portfolios and constantly monitor changes in their value.
• Automatically displays portfolio positions.
• Stores all information (charts, quotation windows and news) in the form of pages that the user can quickly and easily switch between.
• The GlobalView function ensures a quick overview of the entire market for the last 52 weeks: maximums and minimums for all financial instruments, the current price and its relationship to extremes, the absolute and relative change in price for 52 weeks.
